Leadership Tech Valley Seeks Nonprofit Proposals

Leadership Tech Valley logoFrom our friends at the Albany-Colonie and Schenectady Chambers of Commerce:

The Leadership Tech Valley (LTV) Class of 2015, a dynamic group of local leaders in various professions, is excited to announce its request for proposals to complete a service project that will benefit a local nonprofit organization. If you or someone you know represents a nonprofit that could use our help, read on!

LTV’s goal is to partner with an ambitious nonprofit organization on a project in need of planning, fundraising, and physical labor that will improve our community in a measurable way. The class is requesting big-impact, sustainable submissions that can truly make a difference for a group or groups of people in the Capital Region both now and in the future. Proposals with a high return on investment are preferred, but all proposals will be considered.

Submission should be creative, thoughtful and enthusiastic. Therefore, guidelines on the project are purposefully vague. In the past, the Class of 2013 constructed a playground for the Marillac Family Shelter in Albany. The Class of 2014 installed a greenhouse and irrigation system for the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York. The Class of 2015 is requesting project ideas to benefit a local nonprofit in a similar way. Now’s not the time to be shy!

The application is available at www.leadershiptechvalley.org. Completed proposals are due by 5 p.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2015 and should be emailed to InfoLTV2015@gmail.com. The selected applicant will receive a positive response by close of business on February 27, 2015.
