From the Schenectady Chamber of Commerce:
In the constantly shifting nonprofit world, organizations are looking at new ways to survive. Perhaps you need to think of your nonprofit organization more as a business entity and not just a social cause entity. Using for-profit business practices and strategies can help turn your nonprofit right-side-up and yield greater results that support your mission and vision.
This session will look at a variety of business concepts that can be applied to help you meet your goals, help determine the most effective business model for your organization, and help you decide if collaboration is in your future.
Program Speaker: Mel Chudzik, Professor and Dean Emeritus, School of Management, Union Graduate College
Location: Holiday Inn Express & Suites, 400 Old Loudon Road, Latham
* This program will be held in the Gazebo Room. You can access this room from either the hotel lobby or the separate entrance near the main parking lot.
