The John Faunce and Alicia Tracy Roach Fund, created with a gift from the estate of John and Alicia Roach, was the preface to a love story that will continue to be told through the impact of their thoughtful generosity.

Following the gift from their estate, the Foundation was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with John and Alicia’s son and daughter-in-law to begin their next chapter. It was important to John and Elizabeth Karl-Roach to capture their parents’ dedication to service, a life pursuit that was demonstrated in both their professional and personal passions.

Like his parents, John and his wife Elizabeth were grateful for all they achieved, and they understood that for many, leading a healthy and productive life was difficult.

It was through their love of family and community that John and Liz chose to inscribe their family values in the grant guidelines of the John Faunce and Alicia Tracy Roach Fund. Together they were able to honor Dr. Roach’s work in the field of kidney research and follow their passion by supporting individuals and families in need.
