The C. Jordan Vail Spirit of Philanthropy Award is presented annually in recognition of community members who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and extraordinary commitment to preserving and enhancing the quality of life in our region.
On May 27, 2015, the Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region presented Neil and Jane Golub with the C. Jordan Vail Spirit of Philanthropy Award. Neil and Jane exemplify all that was imagined with the creation of this award. For decades, the Golubs have thoughtfully and generously supported charities with their dedication of time, talent and treasure. Together, they have devoted their efforts to support causes that inspire positive change in local nonprofits and the communities they serve. Thanks to their support, hundreds of organizations have been able to make positive change. Our communities are stronger, healthier and more fair because of their commitment.
The Community Foundation is honored to have the opportunity to partner with Neil and Jane in developing a lasting legacy, which ensures support for those organizations and programs that are close to their hearts, in perpetuity.
